Female Hustlers 2020 Spotlight: The Real-time Power That Deserves Your Absolute Attention!
Meet Aini, a fashion consciously aware individual who lives in the heart of London, UK. She spends her time in pursuit of what makes herself happy and healthy, yet also thrives off giving positive vibrancies; investing her time to motivate people within her community and inner circle. Her current adventure in light, is the founding of the sustainable modest fashion brand Nea.
1. What inspired you to initially start your hustle and what would you say was the breakthrough moment for yourself to date in your career?
What inspired me to start Nea was the need for stylish, approachable, sustainable modest wear. I couldn't find a brand that was fully sustainable and after discussing it with two of my friends, we then decided to start Nea.
I believe we have our breakthrough moments ahead of us, not one-but many. That keeps us motivated and working hard.
2. Was there ever a time you came close to giving into any doubts of yours and how did you manage to overcome it; to continue motivating yourself through it?
There are constant doubts, we all have that little enemy inside of our heads that try to distract us and bring us down. I think that the main thing is, to not fall into that negative talk. If you believe in what you're doing and that you have a purpose beyond yourself, then that will always keep you going- if there is a greater cause for your work. It keeps you accountable and of service to your community.
3. What is your biggest tip for other female hustlers out there who want to be making a living out of what they love?
Believe in yourself
Always keep learning
Be consistent and don't give up
Stay curious and hungry.
Trust in God.
4. How do you plan on making 2020 the best year yet for you and your hustle?
There is a lot that we have in store this year. The most important thing is our attitude-mind-set towards challenges and the not so glamorous or enjoyable stuff that needs to be done.
5. Any other side projects that you have going on that you can give us a little cheeky insight too?
Right now, my main focus is Nea, that's where all my energy is going in terms of projects. We are about to launch a new exciting collection that we believe is the best one we've had so far. Also by the end of the year we are going to introduce a clothing line. Very excited for all of it.
